Evert Houston
Evert Houston is a conceptual creator dedicated to the innovation and development of original story. His recent acting, writing, directing and producing work has been seen in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Los Angeles, Niagara-On-The-Lake, Toronto, Berlin and Arizona on the Navajo Nation. He is currently focussed on the refinement and expansion of the creative elements and language used to articulate story in Live Cinema.
Samba Elégua (just added!) with The New Model Circus Army
Samba Elégua’s instruments and rhythms draw on elements of Brazil’s samba tradition, but this free percussion group also plays original beats, unites audiences and communities, empowers cooperative musical learning, and brings rump-shaking funk to the streets. We’ve played everywhere from warehouse parties and nightclubs to Cherry Beach to a bajillion parades and street parties.
