ACTING TIPS FOR LIVE CINEMA – By Willow De La Roche

Before you can act it’s essential to make your self into a blank canvas where you can then create the colour and form of you character in action.

I would encourage you to do this when you are feeling rested and strong, and have the ability to focus on your task.

The obgect of getting into a nutral state is so that you can drop your ego which unless delt with will prevent you from truely entering into your part, you will most likely find is too heard or embarrassing.

Dropping the ego evolves letting go of the you that you project though day to day life. Some people are not aware of what they project. However try to find your boundaries and then push them. Find the courage to do things that shake you up.

Think firstly of your defining characteristics are you quiet and you somebody who walks with a special style. You need to neutralise you own characteristics both on a physical and mental level. There are many warm up an improvisation techniques available on line, which help you become more flexible and loos your normal characteristics.

Try and build a sense of your self and trust you instincts, this will help you define what in your self you need to work on and when you have achieved your desired objective.
